On July 22nd, the topping out ceremony of DBG Shenzhen Pingshan Smart Garden was held grandly in Pingshan, Shenzhen. This historic moment not only witnessed DBG’s deep roots in this innovative land of Shenzhen, but also demonstrated its firm steps in promoting intelligent manufacturing, accelerating the development of new quality productivity, and promoting the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry.
Mr. Tang Jianxing, CEO of DBG, Mr. Su Zhibiao, COO, Mr. Zhu Jianjun, Vice President, Mr. Li Zhengda, Vice President, Mr. Wang Junfa, and other company leaders and some employees, as well as design unit leaders, supervision unit leaders, and construction unit leaders, attended the topping out ceremony and witnessed this glorious and joyful moment together.
The ceremony kicked off in a warm and solemn atmosphere. Amidst the festive sound of firecrackers and salutes, leaders waved the golden shovel together with good wishes and blessings, pouring the final concrete. Shovel after shovel filled with blessings and expectations, announcing that DBG Shenzhen Pingshan Intelligent Garden has officially topped out, and the project construction has accelerated into a new stage!
Mr. Tang Jianxing delivered a warm speech on site, with sincere gratitude to the design, construction, supervision and other teams for their hard work and outstanding contributions. Mr. Tang stated that Shenzhen Pingshan Smart Garden is an important milestone in the development of DBG and an important part of DBG’s global layout. This modern and intelligent production base will become another important driving force for the company’s future development, providing the company with broader development space and more complete supporting facilities, further improving the level of automation, informatization, and intelligence, helping DBG build an intelligent factory and industry benchmark, and forging the DBG brand. In the future, DBG will continue to promote its global strategic layout, build a multinational company with global competitiveness, and promote the rapid development of the intelligent manufacturing industry with more enthusiasm and firm steps, contributing to China’s intelligent manufacturing.
The project covers an area of 53000 square meters with a total construction area of 200000 square meters. The foundation was laid on November 8, 2023, and the first phase of construction is expected to be completed in December 2024. Production is expected to gradually begin in March 2025. At that time, one research and development building, two factory buildings, three dormitory buildings, and living facilities will be built, integrating office buildings, intelligent workshops, leisure and entertainment facilities, large parking areas, and dining halls.
The Smart Garden is committed to creating a low-cost, high-quality, and globally intelligent management demonstration park focused on new production and manufacturing. After the project reaches production capacity, it will achieve an annual increase of tens of millions of complete machine products, covering products such as smartphones/tablets, smart wearables, automotive electronics, new energy, etc. The project is expected to provide about 10000 direct employment opportunities for the local area in the year of completion and production.
